Eric Jensen has been acting for the last 15 years. He has written plays, comedy sketches, commercials and directed them as well.

Eric, a Native Murray Spartan, has lived here in Utah all his life. As a child, he knew he was funny and also liked making people laugh. He was the class clown. He received a Drama scholarship to Utah State University, and that's where his acting truly began. He started acting after college at the Hale Centre Theatre in Salt Lake in "The Hasty Heart," then went on to work for Desert Star Playhouse for six years, acting, writing, and directing. Six years later, he received a BA in the Theatre Arts Department at the U of U, then started the OBT with the Porters and the Bedores back in August of 1994. He is married to his lovely and talented wife, Sandy, and has a wonderful and comedic son, Austinn.

Eric currently is a member and co-founder of the OBT Improv Troupe "Quick Wits" which changed the name to Laughing Stock in 2001. He writes, acts, and directs at the OBT as well as design props and costumes.
Eric has done stand-up comedy, melodramas, romantic comedies, Shakespeare, tragedies, and now parodies. He does local and national commercials.

His life is full of laughter. He hopes to always keep people laughing by keeping his wit sharp.
